At GG Gemstones, we believe that gemstones are not just beautiful
works of art, but also an investment. Since it takes millions of
years to create these natural stones, eventually all will appreciate
in value. This is caused by a rapid growth of the industry and diminishing
supplies, along with increasing demand for gemstones. Some gemstones
that only have one specific location will disappear in years to
come. An Example of this would be Tanzanite. Experts believe this
gemstone will disappear in the next 15-20 years and prices could
go up as much as 1000% per carat from current levels.
Due to decreasing supplies in natural gemstones, many different
synthetics, simulants, and glass gems are being created at an increasing
rate. This makes it more difficult for Jewelers to find genuine
natural material and also makes it harder to verify whether a retailer
is selling natural or synthetic gemstones. In order to guarantee
that our Gemstones are natural, they are inspected by GIA certified
Gemologists to ensure authenticity and accuracy.
